Butter me up

London architectural practice Flawk’s new homewares collection includes a butter knife with an on-trend bobbin-shaped handle.

The limited edition model, one of 40, is made of stainless steel and is to order.

It features a teardrop-shaped blade, designed for smooth spreading. Slather on toast.

It costs about €127, excluding delivery, for the 22 cm long design.

Cosy-up

A tea cosy is functional as well as kitsch in a good way.

While the Michael D Higgins knitted version may now be retired, there are other options.
