Miss Ireland hotel Knightsbrook with Christy O’Connor Jnr golf course goes on the market

It is home to a Christy O’Connor Jnr-designed golf course and hosted the 2025 Mrs Ireland finals, and now Knightsbrook hotel in County Meath is on the market.

Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Co Meath has been brought to market with a guide price of €25 million, presenting what agents describe as a significant opportunity for investors to enhance and expand one of Ireland’s most established leisure destinations.

Set on 172 acres of rolling parkland, the resort combines a broad mix of hospitality and lifestyle amenities.

At its core is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Christy O’Connor Jnr, complemented by a dedicated clubhouse featuring a pro shop and meeting facilities.

Wellness is a central part of the offering, with the River Spa providing 14 treatment rooms alongside a fully equipped health club.

Facilities include an 18-metre swimming pool, thermal suite, gym, and two fitness studios, catering to both hotel guests and members.

The hotel also played host to the 2025 Miss Ireland finals, where former Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny's daughter Caoimhe Kenny took home the crown.

Agents say the scale and diversity of the estate provide clear potential for further value creation.

Opportunities include optimising the existing hotel and resort houses, as well as enhancing the spa, golf, and events infrastructure.

There is also scope to explore new branding strategies and operational efficiencies across the extensive accommodation and amenities.

Tom Barrett, Director of Hotels & Leisure at Savills, said: “Knightsbrook has the potential to be one of Ireland’s leading resort hotels, combining extensive facilities with a prime location close to Dublin and the airport.

Daniel O’Connor, Head of Hotels & Living at JLL, added: “The Knightsbrook is a large-scale Irish resort offering a variety of sought after facilities including leisure, spa, golf and holiday homes.

“With significant performance growth potential remaining, we are expecting very strong national and international buyer interest in this quality and rare resort property.”
