Forget padel, table tennis is the new game to play

Timothee Chalamet’s star turn in the movie Marty Supreme has turned us all on to table tennis, with some designers investing in custom creations that command attention and have eye-watering prices.

While Chalamet’s character Marty Mauser may have frequented sports halls that were a little down at heel, the game and its equipment are luxing up their presence in high-end renovations and shooting for the stars.

A ping pong table is fast becoming the ultimate object of desire in luxury residences, with many designers opting for styles that do double duty as a dining table.

Some even offer other game options such as billiards.
