Any foodie celebrity worth their salt has a cookware range. The ones that blend showstopping good looks and high-tech functionality are the ones homeowners want to showoff in their kitchens.

It makes sense for chefs and foodies to lend their names to cookingware. It's a symbiotic relationship that helps sell pots, pans and utensils.

Jamie Oliver has had a 20-year partnership with Tefal, while Gordon Ramsay, the multi-Michelin-starred celebrity chef who rules the internet, has taken a different route, investing in direct-to-consumer LA kitchenware brand HexClad, through his Studio Ramsay Global, itself a partnership with Fox Entertainment.

The takeaway here is that it can be lucrative.

Showbiz styling with Italian-flavour

Everyone’s favourite Italian American, Stanley Tucci, has already enthralled us on screen and written several cookbooks and books about food.

He’s also regaled us on socials with his cocktail recipes.

Made in Italy, it comes in two colours, ceramic white or Venetian teal and features champagne-coloured hardware.

The five-millimetre stainless steel base, forged, high-performance base suitable for all stovetops and is oven safe.

Its flat surface keeps oil where you want it to give even browning because food stays in contact with the base.

It includes two frying pans, a 20 cm one that comes with a tight-fitting, glass-tempered, stainless steel-rimmed lid, and is great for frying eggs, €99.95 and a 30 cm size, €179.95.

There is a 1.89 litre saucepan with lid, €149.95 and a 26cm casserole dish, which he calls by its American moniker, a Dutch oven, that is inspired by vintage Italian pots passed down from Stanley's mother.

This costs €299.95.

It includes a griddle, a shallow 2.9 litre pan and a 5 litre casserole dish with a lid. and costs €135.

The collection includes stainless-steel, lidded saucepans with a thick copper disc in the base to ensure quick and even heating.

The 18cm costs €47.50 and the 20 cm size costs €54. There’s also a milk pan, €27.

This is Neven Maguire’s sixth year collaborating with Dunnes Stores on his cookware range.

Much of it is workhorse stainless steel, and he’s launched a red-hot, coloured, stainless steel casserole dish with silicone arm covers just in time for Valentine’s Day.
