Industrial and exposed: A look inside Madonna and Guy Ritchie's former London love pad

An industrial kitchen and exposed stone walls aren't exactly a recipe for a raunchy love pad, but Madonna and Guy Ritchie found a way to make it work.

A London townhouse where the pop princess lived is currently available to rent, but the home isn't exactly what fans might expect from the Material Girl.

The two-bedroom South Kensington home, which belonged to film producer and director Guy Ritchie before he began dating Madge in the late 1990s, could be yours for about €2,423 (£2,075) per week.

Madonna moved into the 143 square metre Georgian home before marrying the English-born filmmaker in December 2000.

As if that wasn't enough star power, the white-brick house also served as a filming location for the 2004 crime caper Layer Cake, starring a pre-Bond Daniel Craig.

Ritchie and Madonna sold the residence after production ended, at the end of 2003, per The Standard.

The home, set over two floors, is located on Queens Gate Mews, which originally were designed as stables and coach houses, with servants' quarters above, to serve the mansions on Queen's Gate.

The ground floor is open-plan, made up of a sitting area, library, utility, and a downstairs W.C.

The elevated area, with hardwood floors and arched windows, is fitted with a silver industrial-style kitchen.

Upstairs includes two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one of which mixes marble and exposed brick, as well as a built-in study area. A small Juliet balcony, directly above the front door, overlooks the cobbled Mews.

There is also a powder room.

The home has an address of Queen's Gate Mews, SW7. It is just a short walk from Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Natural History Museum.

The townhouse is listed with London-based estate agents Dexters, which you can visit here.
