Fabra is a nickname for the old part of Cabra, an inner suburb of Dublin 7 that has large family homes, including this detached B-rated residence.

Cabra is a large suburb with many villages within it. The Phibsborough-adjacent part is known as old Cabra and offers a wide range of housing stock styles and sizes.

Its Fabra nickname has its origins in the early noughts when a new generation of buyers started putting down roots here, priced out of similarly city-proximate suburbs on the southern side of the river, such as Portobello. It was an expression of surprise at the variety of homes available.
