3 A and B Ber-rated houses at median national price

With €374,999, the median national price paid nationally for a dwelling in the 12 months to July, according to the CSO’s Residential Property Index, here are 3 for sale around that price point

The Central Statistics Office’s (CSO) Residential Property Price Index for July show the median price paid for a home nationally in the 12 months to July 2025 was €374,999.

The highest median or middle price (which differs from the average) for a home was €675,000 in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, while the lowest median price was €195,000 in counties Donegal and Leitrim.

House prices in the Republic rose at an average annual rate of 7.5 per cent in July, down from 7.9 per cent the previous month, the latest official figures show.

The CSO’s latest Residential Property Price Index indicated prices in Dublin increased at an annual rate of 6 per cent, while prices outside the capital were up by 8.7 per cent year-on-year.

Any of the recent Dublin listings at this price point have lower Ber ratings.

A-rated Ballinasloe townhouse given 21st-century makeover
